About ActivStars Outreach

Mission

Founded in July 2012, ActivStars Outreach was established to help bring affordable after-school and weekend youth sports programs to all children, regardless of their financial situation. Our 501(c)3 non-profit program is designed to make it easy to identify and help those in need in our communities.

Each year, thousands of children across the country benefit from the youth sports programs that our partners provide. We work directly with ActivStars to ensure that its programs reach deep into our communities and help them serve as an innovative model for the youth recreation industry.

As with most new endeavors, we began with a small initiative and have since expanded to provide financial and other assistance across the nation.  Partner programs are now held in approximately 20 states in the U.S., with more than 30,000 participating.

We plan to continue to help our programs grow. You can take part in that growth in many different ways, including volunteering, partnering, and donating.

Each year, our partners benefit thousands of children across the country. ActivStars Outreach works with partners to deliver classes and programs that:

  • Boost self-confidence and teamwork skills
  • Promote a physical lifestyle
  • Help children play an active part of their community
  • Teach children about safety awareness
  • Develop self-respect and respect for others

What we Value

ActivStars Outreach’s work is guided by three core principles: educating children, building community, and promoting lifelong health.

Education

Education is the cornerstone of our youth programs. Our partners provide industry-leading curricula emphasizing individual growth. Our instructors teach sports skills, nurture self-confidence, and promote positive life skills.

Community

ActivStars Outreach programs are offered at schools, churches, and community centers. Through these programs, our vetted partners create positive and safe learning environments at trusted facilities within our communities.

Health

Physical fitness requires dedication and continual effort. By laying the foundation at early ages through our youth activities, we instill good habits, the desire, and that vital commitment. For some children, our classes provide their only exposure to healthy lifestyles.

Testimonials

“Our daughter has enjoyed the program and is looking forward to continuing soccer in the fall. I was so thankful for the program, as it was affordable for our very limited budget, as well as providing classes and games on Saturdays. This was the perfect fit for our family’s schedule, and is so rare to find elsewhere.”
– Tiffany Scher

“When your child is already involved with several extracurricular activities it is nice to be able to plug into an easy and stress-free system that doesn’t involve a lot of planning and costs, but provides a lot of fun and healthy exercise.”
– Doug Frost

“This summer was my daughter’s first experience with cheer, she even tried out and moved up a pom level. The look on her face when she received the trophy at the summer cheer show was priceless.”
– Leah Venegas

“My son started taking karate classes through ActivStars and has made huge strides in self-esteem and technical ability. We had a fantastic experience at the tournament also, where my son earned trophies and medals, allowing him to further build his self-esteem.”
– Victoria Miloan
